At my last engineering job before I retired, my coworkers would go nuts if one of them happened to sit down at my desk to use my computer. You see, I had a naked keyboard, all the key tops being blank.
Back in the 4th grade, at my school in Alaska where I’m from, we were given the ability to choose an elective. The teasing I got, boys in the early 60s taking typing was not the norm. It was the best class I ever took!
Being able to type well, weather you are a programmer or just surfing the web, is an asset. Indeed, it kept my father in law off the front lines in Korea, because he could type!
Let us recommend for you, even if you can type a bit but want to improve your speed and accuracy a great software package called: Klavaro.
As always, open your Software Manager, and search for Klavaro.
Once installed, you can find it at: Menu–> Education–> Klavaro
Once open, just select your desired course of the 4 offered, and follow the simple, on screen prompts.
Give it a try, and get your typing up to a level that can really be a benefit to your career, no matter what it is!
